This course is an introduction to the essential teachings of the Buddhist Sutras. In each class, we present some historical background on the Sutras, read aloud key passages, and discuss the importance of the ideas and practices that the Buddha invites us to contemplate. We complement our discussion with guided reflections and meditations.
